another month in my apartment

i don’t think that one month goes by without me getting into a fight w/ the lady at the management company of my apartment! i have run out of checks and am too lazy to reorder them so i started paying my rent in cash…no big deal. except the woman can’t count, so that was a fight on more than one occasion.

 last month, she got mad b/c i gave my landlord my rent and cut in front of the line (which is ALWAYS like 7 people long and takes 30 minutes to get through b/c she is slow)

today, i tried to just give her an envleope w/ my information on it and a cashier’s check inside.  she told me i couldn’t b/c if she had to verify that it was the correct amount. i assured her that it was, i have lived there for over a year and know how much rent i owe, and besides what would happen if it was wrong? “you would have to pay a late fee!” FINE, i know my rent i will take that chance….it really shouldn’t be this difficult.
