shopping for: jeans

i am very upset to write that my very favorite pair of cropped jeans from banana republic will soon need to be recycled. the cloth on the inside is breaking down and this happens once a year, always with my favorites, and then it takes months to find another amazing pair.

ain’t that a bitch.

so, now i am on a quest to find the holy grail of jeans without spending too much (i’m a thrifter, it’s in my blood). i would prefer a tapered leg cropped at the ankle, which may be impossible seeing as i am under five feet tall.
