Hey Everyone! So I just had a really great Saturday afternoon! I woke up hungover but I decided to pull through and just get stuff done. So after some breakfast (eggs, bacon, toast, salad), reading the Michael Chabon article in the New Yorker and putzing for a bit, I decided to sit down and make some pillowcovers for our new couch. The couch is this grey boring thing and it’s redeeming quality lay in the fact that it was 100 dollars on Craigslist. I needed to spruce it up. And so, the covers. Thought I’d share with you all.
The fabric is deadstock from some southern textiles company. They’re probably around 40 years old but almost brand new in quality. I have a thing for vintage fabric.
I’m thinking of making bags and more pillowcases to sell on etsy. What do you think? Would anyone buy anything like this? How much would you pay?
