Quite possibly the hardest thing to do is watch my grandpa cry. This is a man who suffered through WWII first hand. Surviving two sunken carriers, a POW camp and the defense of Australia from the nazi/japanese invasion. A man who had what I affectionately call a “white anger”, where it took something very serious for him to become overtly upset and show emotion.
I saw my grandpa cry (for the first time).
