Change

Is it ever ok to make suggestions to your significant other about dress, hair, style…etc? or does it always make it seem like you are trying to change them? Is it extremely superficial? I got into last night with mine…I dress pretty classic/clean cut. He dresses in baggish pants or skinny jeans (which I don’t mind) but with too big t-shirts (that are often really strange). It’s like grunge meets punk rock. We have only been dating 2 months. He is a musician and works as a camera person on film sets. I told him he can still dress arty and not look sloppy. He told me I was being superficial.
