On Bitterness or (If you’ve got one foot in yesterday, and one foot in tomorrow, you’re pissing on today.)
Bitterness serves no real purpose, save the bad taste it leaves in your mouth. If you have ever loved and lost, (and who hasn’t at this point?) you’ve experienced the pangs of moving on after a break-up. Break-ups are awful, but eventually all things come to an end in some way or another. That’s life.
It may have seemed inconceivable the first time you dated someone else. However, you did it, and you survived. Eventually, when you stopped thinking of them every five seconds and wondering what they were doing and if they were thinking about you, you probably found that there were many things/people to occupy your time.
If you are wrapped up in rehashing the past, you are missing out on your life, now. What’s more important? How does bitterness further your story?
