Abortion

I know this is a gravely controversial topic to many, but personally I am 100 % pro-choice.

I was googling some pro-choice resources and one of the first links that came up in the search engine is understandably :

http://www.prochoice.com/

I went to the website and clicked the ‘Abortion’ section, and guess what greeted me?

Abortion is human intervention that does not allow a developing child to be born.
It is the death of another less developed human being.

Imagine feeling safe and the next moment someone is killing you and you can’t get away or cry for help.
Sadly this procedure is used as a fail-safe if birth control does not prevent a pregnancy. Great ‘Orwellian like’ efforts have been made to redefine the actual definition of the term Fetus to not be defined as a child. In like fashion, the word Choice is being substituted for Abortion demonstrating a textbook example of political framing. This is part of a horrific philosophy that degrades women, by convincing them that their children are not worthy to be born.
The catch is, we don’t figure it out until it’s too late.
It was too late for me it’s not too late for you.

I am stunned. This is not a pro-choice website. This a website run by vindictive anti-pro-choice people who are hellbent on making every woman who isn’t entirely self sacrificing feel like a murderer. These people are liars and manipulative; cunningly try to force their agendas into the minds of the impressionable. This just disgusts me.

The internet is the one stop solution for young people these days. Imagine if you were a young girl who has just found out she is pregnant and is looking for reliable resources to make important life changing decisions, and here you are faced with this base vengeful crap.

These people talk about the rights of the unborn child when the rights of the mother carrying it is not respected at all. What if someone created a website under the banner of “Pro-life” and spewed all about how in order to have a child one must give up all their hopes, dreams, needs and wants in life? That from now onwards they have no identity, they are simply performing the social function of perpetuating the human race? Would people stand for that?

People have the right to take on whichever stand they please, and they deserve to be respected for it. If you are pro-life, do not pretend to be pro-choice and use words to manipulate people and force your cause upon them, for heavens sake. I hope that whatever your stand is, you most importantly stand for women having the right to have access to realiable and accurate resources.

And just to balance out all that evil, here is a website worth reading :

NARAL Pro-Choice America

I also found a really interesting blog post about a person’s stand on pro-choice. There’s also a link to another blogger’s stand on pro-life at the bottom I believe.
